Every insurance carrier has an ideal customer and every carrier's ideal customer is different. Factors like driving record, marital status, homeowner vs renter, and credit all affect whether you are an ideal customer. If you and your carrier are a good fit, you'll get great coverage at a great price. If not, you'll either pay too much for good coverage or sacrifice coverage to get a fair price.
